Where’s the Love?

“Where’s the love?” You do extraordinary things and you’ve received great praise for them. But there comes a point when the accolades dwindle; “where’s the love?” you ask. You’ve grown, gained experience and are even greater at your craft than you were before; why haven’t they noticed? “Where’s the love?” The love is inside of you, the love for doing what it is you do, the love for the ability to do it. Acclaim, applause and admiration may come in gallons and then drips but it doesn’t matter much if you continue to do it for the right reasons… the love.

Consistently Striving for Greatness

Life’s all about averages; we have to remain consistent. You may have a great day where you’ve done some awesome things and everyone can appreciate that. But, what have you done all the other days? Are you always striving to offer greatness? People will always remember how you made them feel more than what you did or said on that one great occasion. Be consistent everyday in the greatness you offer the world; it’s all about averages.

Thankful to Give

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m more grateful for the giving than the thanks. When we receive something we are filled with joy and for that we say thanks. That joy may be instant but often short lived. Yet when we give we receive a lasting joy. The pleasure sensors in our brain fire off much longer and our joy is felt for an extended period of time (scientific fact). So on this Thanksgiving I’m thankful, thankful for the opportunity and ability to give… for giving supplies us with the true lasting joy we are always in search of. Happy Thanksgiving friends!

Party Every Night?

Do you party every night? Is every night a party? If you’re partying every night what exactly are you celebrating? Some say life. We should be celebrating life by living life, sharing the greatness within us. When we accomplish something in life worth being celebrated that may be cause to have a party. Celebrate by living life abundantly, that’s a party everyday and night.

You Sexy Devil You

You sexy devil you. Satan uses our vanity to help us value things with no substance. Superficially glamorous, we’ll go to any lengths to alter our form and faces. Dangerous practices are now commonly used on the egotistical and self important trying to not look like what God made them. Our beauty comes from the love Jesus placed in our hearts. There’s nothing wrong with looking nice, just don’t die for it.

Oh The Wisdom of Men

Oh the wisdom of men. The worlds greatest fool is that man thinks he’s smart enough to match wits with God. Many non believers are non believers because it’s easier to not follow God’s laws or obey his word. They’ll get caught up in worldly issues as if our time here isn’t temporary. These “free thinkers” fail to realize this life is a trial, test and a trust. They’ll question everything, even the existence of God, basking in their own perceived intellectual glory. Because they don’t understand they declare things untrue, lacking in faith. What they fail to realize is that we’ll never understand God’s plan, our puny little minds don’t have the capacity, but know that his plan is divine. Atheists, Agnostics. Non believer I have a question for you. You and I are high up in the air in a plane who’s engines are failing. We are now plummeting to the earth’s floor. What are you doing? Are you standing on all of you smarts believing that when this plane crashes you’ll just cease to exist or will you be calling on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ just as I am.

It’s easy to pretend like you have the most sense in the world when it means nothing but… are you so strong in your belief that you’ll denounce HIM when this life comes to an end? I’m here to remind you that Hell is filled with souls who believed that they held greater intelligence than God. Jesus allows you free will, free thinker; HE gives us freedom of choice because he wants us to choose him. Jesus always loves us and in his great benevolence he’ll accept you into his kingdom even after you spending a lifetime being arrogant enough to think you hold greater understanding than the creator. Our souls are eternal, eternal death or eternal life. God is the creator of all, the Alpha and the Omega everything starts and ends with our Lord. I pray for you oh wise men of this world and I love you because my father loves you, my brothers. I just ask one thing please don’t allow all your smarts to land you in Hell. Oh the wisdom of men.

God Bless Those Special Few

Thank you Lord for those special few. Those special few who not only obey your laws but act on them as well. They are not only speakers of the WORD but also doers. The love you’ve placed in their hearts illuminates like the light from a lighthouse on a pitch black night. Wining souls is what they do through their actions because people recognize their joy and want to share in it. God Bless those special few.

Savvy

Sometimes it’s better to be savvy than smart. You may not have all of the answers but you know where to go to get them. There are more talented people in the world but you know how to put their talents to use. You can’t fix the equipment, you do however know how to best put it to use. The technology guys create and develop the technology yet you design ways for the technology to be utilized. Your savvy is your smarts; sometimes it’s better to be savvy than smart.

Sometimes Sappy Does Work

Love me tender; love me sweet, from my head to my feet. Sometimes sappy works. If your lover whispered that seductively in your ear would you smile? What if it were followed by a soft peck on your lobe then the side of your neck. Their warm breath on the back of your neck raising hairs and causing goose bumps. Now, don’t you feel loved? You get a warm feeling just thinking about it? Sometimes sappy really does work.

Brainwashing… Poisoning Minds

Brainwashing is nothing short of poisoning minds. Trying to bring people to your way of thinking by defaming someone else usually backfires on you. The truth always comes to the light. You can paint a picture any way you want to but actions show all. Lip service is just that servicing with your lips; your deeds and works are what form lasting opinions. Negative speak eventually harms you more than your target.
